Water Filtration & Sanitisation

Our water is high in calcium and provides a healthier alternative to caffeine and fizzy drinks

Water is more important to all of us than we might think:-

•     It forms up to 70% of our body weight.
•     An adult can lose about 2 litres of fluid per day without being particularly energetic.
•     Dehydration - in minor cases it can give us terrible headaches, cause tiredness and lack of concentration.
•     Drinking plenty of water moisturises our skin & can even control weight by stopping us confusing hunger with thirst.
•     A water cooler is an excellent way to provide clean, fresh drinking water which is available at any time of day.

Sanitisation

BWCA guidelines insist that plumbed in water coolers are sanitised every 6 months to ensure that the water you drink from your dispenser is delivered at the optimum quality.

Direct Hygiene’s Cooler Care program uses fully qualified engineers, trained in food hygiene to carry out this service at the required intervals.

All of our service locations have achieved 'Distinction' status in independent audit's by the BWCA.

We also use some of the best WRAS approved filters available – a CUNO 1 micron carbon block filter system that reduces cysts, chlorine and other organic chemicals, general bad taste and odour and is good for up to 3,000 litres. All filters are changed every 26 weeks.
